News: Three injured in single-car crash near Blewett Pass

BLEWETT PASS, WA — Three people were injured as the result of a single-car rollover crash Sunday evening near Blewett Pass, according to iFIBER One News.

The Washington State Patrol reported that the driver, a 29-year-old Seattle resident, lost control of a 2020 Tesla while going south on Highway 97.

The Tesla careened across the centerline and the entire roadway before striking an embankment. The vehicle rolled several times before coming to a stop in the northbound ditch.

The driver, along with two 22-year-old passengers, sustained injuries and were transported by ambulance to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee.

An investigation into the cause of crash is underway, but state troopers have determined that impairment was a factor. Charges against the driver are pending.
