News: Three hospitalized after multi-vehicle collision in south Burien

KING COUNTY, WA — Three people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a multi-vehicle wreck near Chelsea Park in south Burien, according to Westside Seattle.

The King County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened on a stretch of Ambaum Boulevard just south of Southwest 136th Street at about 1:45 p.m.

An early investigation indicates three vehicles were involved, including two Hondas and a Ford.

A witness at the scene told authorities a driver was speeding southbound in the right lane when he struck two other cars head-on, causing his vehicle to erupt into flames.

All three drivers suffered undisclosed injuries and were transported to a local hospital. No updates on their condition have been disclosed at this time.
