KENT, WA – A Tesla driver was involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash on Interstate 5 near Washington 516 Monday evening, according to KING 5.
The driver of a Tesla hit a Lexus operated by an 18-year-old man around 7:30 p.m.
Following the collision, the Tesla driver fled the area on foot. Authorities have not yet located the suspect.
First responders pronounced a 63-year-old female passenger from the Lexus dead at the scene. The Lexus driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Washington State Patrol is investigating the incident.
