LACEY, WA – Medical helicopter personnel transported a teen e-bike rider to a hospital following a crash in Lacey on Wednesday.
Kiro7 said the teenager was riding an E-bike on the 6700th block of Mullen Road Southeast near Timberline High School when they were struck by a vehicle. Deputies confirmed the teen was using a marked crosswalk.
The teenager was left in serious condition.
The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office shut down Mullen Road for a long period of time so crews could clean up the debris from the crash and so deputies could continue with the investigation.
