News: Teen arrested, 2 hurt following hit-and-run crash on West Seattle Bridge 

SEATTLE, WA – A 17-year-old teenager was arrested, and two people were hurt following a hit-and-run crash that happened on the West Seattle Bridge around 11:00 p.m. Saturday. 

Police told Fox13Seattle that the 17-year-old was driving their car with no headlights on when they crashed into another vehicle. Either before or after hitting the other vehicle, police also said the teen driver had crashed into a barrier on the Delridge Way Southwest Off-ramp, which caused the car to come to rest. 

The teen and the passenger with them fled the scene and later returned. Police arrested the teen for leaving the scene of an accident and for reckless driving. Officers also cited the teen driver for failing to provide evidence of car insurance and for having an inconsistent license plate and car registration. 

The two passengers from the other vehicle, a man and a woman, aged 45, sustained minor injuries. Medics treated them on site for their injuries before transporting them to a hospital. 

A full investigation is underway.
