News: Teen, 17, loses life in collision in East Bremerton 

EAST BREMERTON, WA – A 17-year-old male teenager died as a result of a collision that happened outside of Rolling Hills Golf Course around 11 p.m. Saturday. 

A teenager driving a Rivian was reportedly speeding on Northeast McWilliams Road when he drifted off the road and crashed into some trees and fence lines, according to Fox13Seattle. 

The impact of the collision caused a 17-year-old teenager to succumb to his injuries. 

The six other male occupants – three other 17-year-old teens, two 18-year-olds, and one 16-year-old — all survived. Four of them were left with unspecified injuries. 

The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office said reckless driving was a contributing factor in the crash and is waiting on toxicology reports to confirm whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. 

Authorities are exploring vehicular homicide and vehicular assault charges.
