News: Suspected stolen car involved in West Seattle hit-and-run

WEST SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run crash involving a possible stolen vehicle was reported early Sunday evening in West Seattle’s Roxhill neighborhood, according to West Seattle Blog.

The collision occurred at the intersection of 26th Avenue Southwest and Southwest Roxbury Street, east of Roxhill Park. It was first reported by WSB at 5:04 p.m.

Few details have been released, but of the two vehicles involved, one car was found without a license plate after its occupant(s) fled the scene.

By 5:56 p.m., only one vehicle, the plateless Hyundai Sonata, remained at the scene as Seattle Police continued to investigate.

Authorities confirmed to WSB that the vehicle is believed stolen and possibly connected to an earlier robbery in the North Delridge area.

No information on the condition of the other driver has been shared.
