News: Suspected DUI crash knocks down power lines in Milton

MILTON, WA – Troopers with the Washington State Patrol shut down a major roadway after a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning.

According to KOMO, the incident was reported at about 5 a.m. along State Route 99 near Birch Street.

Investigators say the driver crashed down into an embankment and struck a utility police, knocking it to the ground. The individual is being held on suspicion of DUI.

The roadway was blocked for about an hour causing significant delays for rush-hour commuters in the area.
