News: Suspect sought after felony hit-and-run on 180th St SE near Snohomish

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — Authorities are searching for a man they believe was involved in a felony hit-and-run crash Monday night near southwest Snohomish, reports KIRO 7 Seattle.

The incident occurred at the intersection of 180th Street Southeast and Snohomish Avenue.

While the circumstances of the event have not been disclosed, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said the man fled the scene on foot. A K-9 unit assisted in a search of the area following the crash, but as of Tuesday morning, the suspect has still not been located.

The male suspect, described as “white with a heavyset build,” was last seen wearing a black shirt and shorts. Deputies warned he may be armed with a handgun.

The sheriff’s office has not released any details regarding potential injuries.
