PEND O’REILLE, WA – According to Washington State Patrol, one person is dead following a two-vehicle collision on Kings Lake Road in Pend O’Reille on Monday, reports Fox 28 Spokane.
According to officials, the crash occurred when a driver did not yield to oncoming traffic while turning southbound onto Kings Lake Road. The vehicle was then struck at the intersection by a northbound car.
Although both drivers involved were wearing seatbelts, the driver of the turning vehicle died at the scene.
