News: Speeding leads to two-car crash on SR 18 near Auburn, WSP says 

NEAR AUBURN, WA – Speeding was a contributing factor that led to a two-car crash near Auburn and Black Diamond, reported before 12:30 p.m. on Friday. 

Washington State Patrol trooper Rick Johnson said a driver of a white Lexus was going too fast for slick road conditions on State Route 18 East and collided with a white Toyota SUV.

The impact of the collision pushed the white Toyota SUV into a concrete barrier, causing it to lean on top of it. 

The white Lexus sustained minor-to-moderate front-end damage. Despite the nature of the collision, the involved occupants were uninjured. 

Johnson did not say if the Lexus driver was cited.
