News: SPD responds to hit-and-run on Highland Park Way SW in West Seattle

WEST SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Monday afternoon in West Seattle’s Delridge neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Highland Park Way Southwest and Southwest Othello Street, near Riverview Playfield. Officers with the SPD’s Southwest Precinct responded to the scene shortly after 2:23 p.m.

No information about the events leading up to the crash has been made available, but dispatchers listed the event as a “non-injury” motor vehicle crash involving a hit-and-run driver.

As of this writing, the department has not provided a description of the fleeing vehicle and/or suspect.
