News: SPD responds to hit-and-run on Aurora Ave N in north Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Wednesday afternoon in north Seattle’s Licton Springs neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The incident was reported in the 10000 block of Aurora Avenue North (State Route 99). Officers with the department’s North Precinct responded to the scene after receiving a call at about 3:38 p.m.

Few details have been disclosed at this time, but emergency dispatchers listed the event as a motor vehicle crash involving a truck. At least one involved party fled the scene before authorities arrived.

As of this writing, the department has not confirmed any injuries.
