News: SPD responds to hit-and-run on 25th Ave in Seattle’s U-District

SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run crash was reported Tuesday afternoon on 25th Avenue Northeast in Seattle’s University District, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The incident was reported in the 5100 block of the road, a few blocks southeast of Ravenna Park. Officers with the department’s North Precinct were called to the area at about 3:45 p.m.

Details remain limited, but police dispatchers listed the event as a motor vehicle collision involving a truck. At least one party fled the scene before authorities arrived.

At this time, the SPD has not released a description of the suspect or fleeing vehicle. No serious injuries were immediately reported.
