News: SPD responds to collision at Rainier Valley intersection

SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were called to a crash Wednesday afternoon on Rainier Avenue South in southeast Seattle, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The accident was reported at the intersection with South Kenyon Street, in the city’s Rainier Valley neighborhood. Officers with the SPD’s South Precinct were dispatched to the scene at around 2:34 p.m.

Few details have been made available, but police dispatchers listed the incident as a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) with unknown injuries.

It remains unclear at this time what caused the wreck or how many vehicles were involved.
