News: SPD called to hit-and-run on S Graham St in south Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Monday evening in south Seattle’s Beacon Hill neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The incident occurred in the 1900 block of South Graham Street, near the intersection with Swift Avenue South, just east of the northbound Interstate 5 onramp. Officers with the department’s South Precinct were called to the scene at 6:27 p.m.

Officials have not shared specific details, but police dispatchers indicated that a truck was involved in the crash, and that at least one of the involved parties fled the scene before first responders arrived.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone was seriously injured, and at this time, the department has not released a description of the fleeing vehicle.
