SEATTLE, WA — Authorities responded to a hit-and-run collision late Tuesday morning in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident was reported in the 1300 block of East Mercer Street, near 13th Avenue East. Officers with the department’s East Precinct were called to the scene at around 11:27 a.m.
Little information has been made available at this time, but police dispatchers listed the event as a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) involving a truck. At least one of the involved parties left the scene before authorities arrived, qualifying the incident as a hit-and-run.
As of this writing, the SPD has not disclosed the conditions of those involved or released any details regarding the fleeing suspect.
