SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Thursday afternoon on 17th Avenue Northeast in Seattle’s University District, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident occurred at the intersection with Northeast 52nd Street at 3:06 p.m. Officers with the department’s North Precinct responded to the scene shortly after.
Authorities have not disclosed the circumstances behind the crash, but at the time of the initial report, the event was listed as “IP/JO,” indicating the suspect had just fled the scene and officers were engaged in the response.
No injuries were reported.
A description of the suspect vehicle has not been released.
