PIERCE COUNTY, WA — A crash involving three cars and three semi-trucks was reported late Wednesday morning on Interstate 5 in south Lakewood, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The multi-vehicle collision was reported on the northbound lanes just south of Exit 125 to Bridgeport Way. It was first reported by Trooper Robert Reyer at 11:23 a.m.
Officials have not shared a possible cause of the accident, but two right lanes and the Bridgeport Way exit ramp were blocked as a result.
Multiple WSP troopers and Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) crew members were at the scene where minor injuries were reported.

By 1:12 p.m., nearly two hours after the initial report, the roadway was reported cleared and all lanes were reopened to normal traffic.
