News: SFD called to collision on Beacon Ave S in south Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — At least one person was left trapped after a crash late Wednesday morning in Seattle’s Beacon Hill neighborhood, according to the Seattle Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to the scene at the intersection of Beacon Avenue South and South Brighton Street, shortly before 10:48 a.m.

The circumstances behind the collision were not immediately clear, but crews received reports of at least one occupant trapped.

Crews are responding to a vehicle collision into a tree near Beacon Ave S & S Brighton St with reports of occupant(s) trapped. Please avoid the area.

Shortly after, authorities confirmed the single trapped patient was able to safely self-extricate from their vehicle.
