News: Semi overturns near Shelton, blocks traffic on Hwy 101

SHELTON, WA – A semi truck overturned on US 101 near Shelton on Tuesday, forcing traffic to alternate directions until it could be cleared.

KOMO News reports that the truck crashed after swerving to avoid some cargo that had fallen out of the bed of a pickup in front of it. The semi overturned, coming to a rest on its side.

Fortunately, the truck’s driver does not appear to have been injured in the crash.

Emergency services arrived at the scene at approximately 11:20 a.m. They alternated traffic until the wreck could be cleared.
