News: Semi crash blocked traffic on southbound I-5 express

SEATTLE, WA – A semi drove off the southbound I-5 express last Thursday, bringing traffic in the right two lanes to a halt.

According to KIRO7, the truck veered off the road near Eastlake Avenue at around 8:50 a.m. Consequently, the truck hit a pillar and lost its cargo over the embankment.

The right two lanes were temporarily blocked while authorities investigated and cleaned up the crash site.

No injuries were reported.
