News: Seattle PD officer involved in motorcycle collision on West Seattle Bridge 

WEST SEATTLE, WA – A Seattle Police officer was involved in a motorcycle collision that happened on West Seattle Bridge on Wednesday. 

The West Seattle Blog first reported the crash at 2:28 p.m., saying it occurred on the west end of the bridge. The specifics leading to the motorcycle collision were not specified. However, a photo, submitted by a West Seattle Blog reader, showed a motorcycle, on its side, facing a barrier. 

The police officer, who drove the motorcycle, appeared to be uninjured and was seen walking away from the bike. 

At the time of the reporting, police and crews blocked the westbound directions for the scene clean-up process and overall investigation. 

Closures started at 2:39 p.m. and lasted until 2:50 p.m. 

Authorities have not specified the events leading to the collision or reported any citations for the police officer.
