SEATTLE, WA – A 63-year-old male runner died when he was struck by a vehicle along Woodland Park Zoo on Monday, King5 reports.
The pedestrian crash happened on the 5900th block of Aurora Avenue North. It was there that the man was struck while running across the road. He died from his injuries at the scene.
In conducting their investigation, Seattle police revealed that the 27-year-old woman, the driver, exhibited no signs of drug or alcohol in her system. She fully cooperated with the authorities.
No charges have been filed against the driver, and the victim’s name has not been released.
