SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A two-vehicle accident involving an overturned dump truck Saturday afternoon closed all eastbound lanes on U.S. Highway 2 in Everett, according to KIRO 7 News.
The collision occurred just east of Interstate 5 and was first reported by Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) at 2:45 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash, but Washington State Patrol said a dump truck rolled onto its side and lost its load on the roadway.
No injuries were reported in the event.
Traffic in the area was delayed as crews worked to clear the dirt and rock debris.
An investigation into the cause of the accident was underway.
