News: Road closure and injuries reported following Tacoma crash

TACOMA, WA – A two-car crash caused injuries and closed S 84th Street in both directions on Monday evening.

According to the Tacoma Police Department’s Twitter feed, the accident happened at the intersection of S 84th Street and S D Street around 8:14 p.m.

Minor injuries were reported. In one of the TPD photos, it appeared as if one vehicle had become overturned on its side.

Local authorities shut down both lanes of S 84th Street to clean up and investigate. All lanes were reopened around 9:06 p.m.
