News: Renton police respond to injury collision on Lake Avenue Soutth

RENTON, WA – According to the Renton PD’s official Twitter page, officers responded to the scene of a crash resulting in at least one injury on Thursday morning.

Officers initially tweeted about the accident at 11:51 a.m., stating that two vehicles were involved in a collision at the intersection of Lake Avenue South and South Tobin Street.

At least one motorist was injured, though further details on their condition were not provided.

BE ADVISED: Officers onscene for an injury accident involving two vehicles at Lake Ave S / S Tobin St. Lake Ave S closed northbound from S. 2nd St for investigation. Take alternate routes. /clm

The northbound lanes of Lake Ave S were shut down between S Tobin St and 2nd St while authorities investigated the scene.
