News: Puyallup man hospitalized after suspected DUI crash

ELMA, WA – A man from Puyallup was sent to the hospital following a suspected DUI collision on Saturday afternoon.

According to KXRO, troopers responded to the scene at about 5 p.m. along Highway 12 near the exit to Elma.

Investigators say the accident occurred as the unidentified 31-year-old man was under the influence and traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his 2011 Subaru and rolled several times.

The driver was injured as a result of the crash. He was transported via ambulance to Summit Pacific Medical Center in unknown condition.
