News: Person’s life claimed in pedestrian collision in Spanaway 

SPANAWAY, WA – A person’s life was claimed in a pedestrian collision that occurred in Spanaway on Thursday, Kiro7 reports. 

The person was struck by a vehicle while crossing the intersection of State Route 7 and 204th Street East. Washington State Patrol responded to the scene around 6:30 a.m. and declared the pedestrian dead at the scene. 

Troopers and crews shut down the intersection for several hours to accommodate the scene clean-up process and investigation.
