News: Pedestrian struck, killed by driver on I-5 SB in downtown Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — One person died Sunday after being hit by a vehicle on Interstate 5 under the Convention Center in downtown Seattle, reports KOMO News.

The fatal incident occurred on a span of the southbound interstate between Pike Street and James Street.

Details are limited at this time, but the Washington State Patrol indicates the pedestrian died from their injuries at the scene.

At this time, authorities have not disclosed details regarding the victim or the striking driver.
