SEATTLE, WA — A man in his 30s was critically injured late Monday night in a pedestrian crash on Interstate 5 near Seattle’s University District, according to FOX13 Seattle.
The incident took place on the northbound lanes at Exit 170 to Northeast Ravenna Boulevard, near the University of Washington.
Few details have been disclosed at this time, but the Seattle Fire Department said the victim was rushed to Harborview Medical Center. As of Tuesday morning, the patient was listed in critical condition.
Officials did not say whether the driver remained at the scene following the event.
An investigation into the cause of the crash remains ongoing.
