News: Pedestrian killed crossing southbound I-5

SEATTLE, WA – A pedestrian was struck by two vehicles and killed when crossing southbound I-5 just north of I-90 on Saturday evening.

According to Kent Reporter, the pedestrian was identified as 39-year-old Khanh Huynh from Kent. It is unknown why he was crossing the highway in a restricted pedestrian zone.

He was struck by two vehicles in two different lanes. Neither driver, ages 27 & 37, were injured. Huynh was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both drivers pulled over after the accident. No charges are pending in the fatal collision.
