SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A 48-year-old California man died Saturday night on State Route 99 after being struck by a vehicle near Lake Serene in Lynnwood, according to Lynnwood Today.
The fatal incident occurred near the intersection with State Route 525 in an unincorporated area of Lynnwood at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Few details have been shared at this time, but the Washington State Patrol said the driver of an unknown vehicle hit the pedestrian and fled the scene.
It was unclear whether the victim died from their injuries at the scene or at a hospital.
