SEATTLE, WA — A 25-year-old woman was injured late Thursday night when she was struck by a vehicle in the Pike/Pine neighborhood near downtown Seattle, reports Capitol Hill Seattle Blog.
The incident took place at East Pine Street and Bellevue Avenue shortly before 11:30 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash, but Seattle Fire crews treated the victim at the scene before rushing her to a local hospital. Officials said she was in stable condition upon transport.
A section of East Pine Street shut down in both directions during the emergency response.
A “Drug Recognition Expert” was called to the scene, but it remains unclear at this time whether any arrests were made. No pending charges or citations have been reported as of this writing.
