News: Pedestrian hit, critically hurt by vehicle in Seattle’s Westlake area

SEATTLE, WA — One person was hospitalized Sunday night following a pedestrian crash in Seattle’s Westlake neighborhood, according to KIRO 7 Seattle.

Seattle Police responded to the scene in the 1400 block of Aurora Avenue North. The incident was first reported by KIRO 7 at 10:56 p.m.

The circumstance behind the event remain unclear at this time, but authorities said the pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a local hospital.

As of this writing, no information regarding the victim nor the driver has been disclosed. It was not immediately clear whether the driver stayed at the scene.

An investigation was underway.
