DES MOINES, WA – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash involving a box truck in the Des Moines area this morning.
According to a report by KOMO, the victim was struck at about 7:30 a.m. while crossing in the area of Pacific Highway S and Kent Des Moines Road.
A witness told officers the pedestrian was walking outside of a designated crosswalk when they were hit by the truck. The truck then continued down the highway.
No arrests have been made as of this writing.
