SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A man in his 40s died early Thursday morning after being struck by a vehicle in south Everett’s Holly area, according to KIRO 7 News.
The fatal incident occurred on Evergreen Way, between Center Road and 112th Street Southwest, shortly after 5:00 a.m.
An early investigation indicates the man and a female pedestrian were engaged in an argument along the side of the street. At one point, the woman walked away from the man, and he followed her into the roadway, where he was hit by a driver.
Multiple lanes were closed during an investigation but were reopened about three hours later at 8:00 a.m.
No further information has been released at this time.
