News: Patrol vehicle collides with Metro bus in SODO

SEATTLE, WA – According to KIRO 7, an officer was hurt following a collision with a Metro bus at SODO Busway and South Holgate Street on Tuesday afternoon.

The officer was heading to an accident with injury with their emergency lights and sirens on when they collided with the back half of a northbound Metro bus around 1:47 p.m. 

First responders transported the officer to an area hospital with minor injuries. 

One of the seven people aboard the bus was hurt in the collision. The extent of their injuries is unknown. 

The Seattle Police Department is investigating the incident
