PIERCE COUNTY, WA — A passenger was hospitalized Sunday morning after a suspected DUI crash on state Route 167 near Puyallup, according to Trooper Robert Reyer with Washington State Patrol.
The collision occurred on the northbound lanes of SR-167 just north of SR-512. It was first reported by WSP at 4:37 a.m.
Few details are available, but a passenger in the single-car accident was transported to a nearby hospital for undisclosed injuries.
Troopers arrested the driver for DUI.
The scene blocked the median and two left lanes of SR-167, but was reported cleared shortly after 8:00 a.m.
