News: Passenger dies after suspected DUI rollover crash in Bellevue

KING COUNTY, WA — A man died early Saturday, September 30, after a rollover crash in Bellevue that left another person injured, according to KOMO News.

Bellevue Police and Fire Department crews were dispatched to the scene on 108th Avenue Northeast, near State Route 520, at 4:10 a.m.

Details remain limited, but officials say a 26-year-old woman was driving when the vehicle crashed and rolled, ultimately coming to rest on its roof.

A male passenger in the rolled vehicle suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene, confirmed officials.

The driver, who sustained injuries considered non-life-threatening, was transported to a local hospital.

Part of 108th Avenue was shut down during the emergency response and investigation, which remains ongoing.

Authorities have not reported an arrest or about any pending charges, but alcohol is believed to have contributed to the fatal accident.
