KITSAP COUNTY, WA — One person died Monday morning after a rollover wreck involving a DUI suspect on State Route 16 in Port Orchard, according to FOX 13 Seattle.
The single-vehicle crash happened on the eastbound highway between Southwest Sedgwick Road and Southeast Mullenix Road, at about 9:00 a.m.
Few details have been released, but the Washington State Patrol indicated the vehicle came to rest on the median.
The passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene, confirmed officials. Troopers arrested the driver for an investigation into DUI.
A section of SR-16 was shut down in both directions during the response, but was scheduled to reopen at about 12:00 p.m.
