News: One person seriously injured after car slams into home in Renton

RENTON, WA – According to Seattle Times, a driver was seriously injured after his vehicle slammed into a Renton home on Thursday morning.

Officials with the Renton Regional Fire Authority said the incident occurred at 2:36 a.m. on the 17200 block of Benson Drive. 

Emergency crews responded to the scene and discovered that the driver was trapped in the car with serious injuries. After being rescued, the patient was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Details regarding the nature of the crash have not been released.
