News: One person hospitalized following hit-and-run pedestrian accident in First Hill

SEATTLE, WA – Police say the victim of a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in First Hill on Monday morning is receiving treatment at Harborview Medical Center, reports KOMO News.

According to officials, the serious crash was reported around 7:45 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Boren Avenue and Madison Street. Both medics and police responded to the accident scene and found the victim injured.

When authorities arrived, the driver had already fled the scene. Police are still working to identify the suspect vehicle.

The pedestrian victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. At this time, no further details on their condition have been provided.
