EVERETT, WA – A female driver died after colliding with a semi truck on Southbound I-5 on Monday morning.
According to local reporting, the fatal crash occurred near the Snohomish River Bridge at around 5 a.m.
The female driver of a Honda Odyssey lost control while passing a semi truck. The vehicle struck a guardrail before hitting the semi.
A passenger in the Odyssey was unhurt.
Southbound I-5 from Maryville to Everett was closed for several hours, diverting traffic to Highway 529. I-5 was reopened at around 9:30 a.m.
