News: One killed, two injured in head-on crash on SR-203 near NE Duvall

KING COUNTY, WA — One person died Monday evening after a two-vehicle collision that injured two others on State Route 203 near northeast Duvall, reports KIRO 7 News.

Washington State Patrol confirmed the fatal wreck occurred near the 288th Street intersection at about 7:30 p.m.

According to authorities, a Toyota Corolla veered past the center line and collided head-on with a landscaping truck.

The driver of the Corolla died from their injuries at the scene. A passenger in the car suffered undisclosed injuries and was airlifted to Seattle’s Harboview Medical Center.

Medics also transported the driver of the truck to a nearby hospital.

A section of SR-203 between Woodinville-Duvall Road and 203rd Street Southeast was shut down as crews responded to the scene.

No further information was released, but an investigation was in progress.
