SEATTLE, WA — One person was injured Saturday evening in a crash on State Route 509 near the Highland Park area in west Seattle, according to West Seattle Blog.
The crash occurred on the southbound lanes of the highway near 1st Avenue South and was first reported at 8:56 p.m.
It is unclear what led up to the accident, but one person was treated on scene for injuries. It is unclear whether they were also transported to a hospital.
Motorists heading into west Seattle were advised to avoid the nearby Olson Place Southwest exit, as Seattle Fire crews blocked multiple lanes.
By 9:24 p.m., the SFD had left the scene and all lanes were reopened.
