News: One hurt after rollover semi wreck on I-90 near Easton

KITTITAS COUNTY, WA — One person was injured late Wednesday night in a multi-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck on Interstate 90 west of Easton, according to Trooper John Bryant with Washington State Patrol.

The accident took place on a span of the interstate between North Bend and Easton. It was first reported by WSP at 10:00 p.m.

An early investigation shows a semi-truck collided with the center barrier before overturning. As a result of the first crash, the barriers were pushed onto the eastbound lanes, striking three oncoming vehicles, including an ambulance.

Authorities reported minor injuries in the accident, but did not confirm the number of people hurt.

Interstate 90 was shut down in both directions for almost seven hours through the night as crews worked the scene.

The road was later reopened at around 4:45 a.m. the next day.
