News: One hospitalized after two-vehicle crash in north Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — A 71-year-old man was injured Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle collision near the Maple Leaf area in north Seattle, according to Seattle Fire Department.

The crash happened at the intersection of Northeast 88th Street and 17th Avenue Northeast. It was first reported by Seattle Fire at 10:43 p.m.

The cause of the crash has not been confirmed, but fire crews were called to the scene to extricate one person trapped in a vehicle.

The victim was evaluated after his safe removal and then transported to a hospital in stable condition.
