LYNNWOOD, WA – Officials had to shut down the 164th Street Southwest overpass along Interstate 5 due to a 15-vehicle crash that happened on Tuesday.
The collision occurred around 8 a.m., and the closures were between Admiralty Way and Alderwood Mall Parkway, according to Kiro7. Transportation crews reopened the area before 9 a.m.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office has not specified the cause of the crash or said whether anyone was injured.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office also confirmed transportation personnel closed Maple Road due to icy roads, but said the area reopened at 8:30 a.m. after officials sanded the road.
