RICHLAND, WA – According to KING 5, an off-duty trooper was allegedly impaired when they struck and killed a motorcyclist on WA 240 near Horn Rapids on Saturday.
The off-duty trooper hit the victim around 7:40 p.m. The motorcyclist died in the collision.
Officers arrested the trooper for DUI vehicular homicide and booked them into the Benton County Jail.
The Richland Police Department is investigating the incident since the suspect was a trooper.
